Be Silent, Shut Up

Be a good little citizen as your neighbors get marched off to the gas chambers. As they get rounded up and deported or moved to concentration camps.

We’ve seen this before in history and yet so many are willing to see it again, and are celebrating it. They celebrate a “man” who stood on stage and bragged that he thought journalist and those that don’t agree with him should be punished, by firing squad.

Makes me absolutely SICK.

“Can’t we all just stay friends? It’s only a difference of opinion,” say the ones who voted for the monsters. The ones who gave the monsters free reign of a once free country. The ones who voted for a rapist, a conman, a fraud. The ones who voted for someone who would push their disabled and elderly relatives in a ditch instead of helping them in any way.

On Facebook those people tell me to be silent. To shut up. To accept the new dictator. They don’t like to see or hear the truth at all. Only their version of delusion that they are saving the country and going to be rich.

Obviously, they must be drinking too much lead in the water.

So I refuse to be silent. I will keep saying the true horrors of it. Every day. Because abusers want you to be silent. I’ve already learned that lesson in life. When I was told to shut up as a child when I asked for help against being sexually assaulted by my own family member. When I was told to be silent when I was dealing with narcissistic abuse. I stopped being silent. And my life changed because of it. They want you to be silent so that they can continue to do what they know in their soul to be very, very wrong. They want you to be silent because they don’t want others who also know the truth to have any kind of hope and support. They want you to be silent because the voiceless have no power and like rape, it’s all about having the power with these kinds of people.

These kinds of people want power over others at all costs. The cost of freedom, the costs of lives, the cost of the environment and climate. And they pretend it’s the price of eggs that motivates them.

So I am not going to shut up and be silent. Here or on Facebook or any other platform I find myself on. I know a lot of scared people right now. I’m with you. If I see something I will always step in. I always have when it comes to bullies, well, except for the ones in my own family. That didn’t happen until I felt that there was support. Which is why I refuse to be silent now.

And, as dictators like to do, if the communication system gets destroyed, (Considering musk is on the side of the dictatorship team, who has a strong hand in communications it’s not a far off probability) we will figure that out too, a way to still get the truth out. It’s been done before.

Evil can only prevail if we are silent.
