Sometime during my middle of the night insomnia, I got bored enough to go look at the models and the patterns for the coming week. Here in the PNW, I say keep an eye out for a mid week (starting possibly on Tuesday) bomb cyclone and atmospheric river. The low pressure system is looking fairly impressive. So it could lead to high waves and lots of rain, possible flooding. Especially with the high tides we are having this month.
I won’t be home this weekend, but serving a 48 hour shift, but I’ll be in a place I can easily watch some king tide action, safely. I’ll be keeping a pretty close eye on the coming systems in my spare time between working and update my thoughts as I can. That being said, if you need to go walk your puppies, at this very hour I would go ahead and sneak one it because it’s going to be a wet one for the rest of the weekend starting in just a little bit.
