Snow doesn’t happen a lot here, but we sometimes get a day or two of snow in the winter.
The thing about snow, even though the ice and snow can be annoying when having to drive to work, is that it acts as garden fertilizer.

You see, those fat flakes drifting down, they collect nitrogen from the atmosphere. It’s just a tiny bit. The snow then gathers together in the garden and eventually melts. That nitrogen sinks into the ground, feeding the garden.

Snow can also insulate during times of really cold weather. Like a blanket, keeping the soil and plants slightly warmer than the parts not covered in snow.

But the absolute best thing about snow? Puppies love snow balls.
