I’ve cleared out the red elder trees from around the old wild apple and can now get up next to the main trunk now. Yes, it’s covered in moss! Still need to clean up around it but it’s much better now. It’s very tall so I have to consider if I will be able to prune it at all to make it healthy. I’m not sure how to go from here, honestly!
The pvc pipes that were just laying around I have used to make a way to cover some of the raised beds. I’m not sure if I should use plastic or frost fleece to cover them. But I’ve already hit what I was willing to spend this week so it will be something I will think about before I can purchase anyway. A little mini $8 hacksaw was very handy in cutting the PVC very easily.
Since I no longer will be using Amazon for purchases, it’s going to be a bit harder to find some of the things I need. But as they say- don’t spend money where you wouldn’t be welcome to work and since I’m disabled, female, middle aged, and they are against diversity, equality and inclusion they obviously don’t want me around. My places to shop, already limited in a very rural area, has gotten a lot more limited in recent months.
I paid off the Amazon card today completely. I was trying to work on my credit, but I won’t use them any more for that.
