Thank goodness the snow has melted pretty quickly so I can start complaining about mud again 🤣🙌.
I planted a few test seeds of sugar snap peas I’d saved from the farm garden, some spinach, and onion sets. One bed is now full.
I will see if I have the same issues with birds and voles here with starting seeds in place that I did at the farm.
In the winter sowing milk jugs, broccoli, kale, cabbage, lupines, and hollyhocks are germinating. So for the cole crops I am definitely going to use this method again or at least start them in the cold greenhouse without issues.
