Planting a rose!

I gathered some mole hill mounds to help fill a small raised bed mixed with some better compost/bagged soil.

It was very heavy soil so the bagged stuff improved it greatly.

Once I got it planted, I added a few seeds for flowers on the bare soil. The rose is called “Twilight Zone.” And it’s a splurge, I know, BUT life without roses isn’t very fun at all and I can use the flowers in tea and crafts.
