Brandywine Raspberry and Winter Sowing Update

50°F, Cloudy, NW 7 mph wind, YTD rain 10.59”.

Before I left for work for the weekend, I got a little raspberry stick I picked up the other day from the hardware store potted up until I decide on a place in the yard for it. A brandywine raspberry which is a cross between a black and red raspberry. I’m not a super fan of raspberries but it’s fruit and my pod people requested more raspberries.

I also checked on all the winter sowing containers and a few are showing signs of life-

Anise Hyssop, cabbage, kale, broccoli, hollyhocks, wild lupine, sweet peas, and pink evening primroses are germinating or have germinated so far.

And I ordered some paw paw seedlings which are on their way! 🙂
