It’s Been A While, Hasn’t it?

It seems the more I use my paper book journal the less I spend typing here but I am paying for this so I may as get back to regularly updating. Nothing much has changed other than the seasons since I last posted. I’m still living on shared land with my bestie, in my camper. I’m still gardening and trying to figure things out. Still have my beautiful dog and cat. I work a lot of hours most days of the week, more than I wanted but my sacrifice keeps my bestie also employed and it pays well. My boss is wonderful, a beautiful, liberal person who just needs a lot of care. I spend more nights and days there then here…. I have mixed feelings about that. If she wasn’t such a beautiful human being then I would have said no a while ago to spending that much time caregiving. I never wanted to be a caregiver again, but as someone with disabilities (too disabled for a normal job but not disabled enough for disability) I’ve no choice but to work at what I can where I can, despite the pain and torture I am in some days. The country is still in a nosedive with a Nazi wannabe dictator and his yes men circus at the helm. I’ve pounded a lot of pavement protesting every chance I have been able to. They are still hell bent on harming the most people possible, and the environment.

I’ve only had one broken bone this year. Which is a miracle and I was able to keep working through it. It’s healed now, but crooked. But at least its not like my wrist, which is crooked and painful even 2 years past the break. This latest break is only a toe.

The garden is doing ok. Not as great as I had wanted in my head, but again, working so many hours that I am exhausted and basically just sleep when I have time off. Most days that time off is only 4-5 hours per day. I have 2 full days off a week, but I’m working 16-18 hour days.

As far as the weather? It’s been pleasant for the most part. We’ve had a few warm days but nothing extreme here. We are a little low on the rain IMHO but not terribly so. Again, this is why I chose to live in this area. Other places are having crazy extreme weather still. But of course the trump controlled media hardly mentions any of it because it doesn’t fit into the agenda.

In any case, this is just early morning rambling. I’m not working today but it’s still too early to go into the garden and start making noise. So I’m here for the moment. I’m going to attempt a more regular posting in this blog.
