@ 9:15 am 61°F, Cloudy, SW 2 mph wind, 0” rain
Zero. Zero inches of rain the apps claim. Yet all day yesterday moisture dribbled from the sky. I had to use windshield wipers regularly and I was definitely wet after finishing the set up of the electric net fencing.
Muddy paw prints on floor and bed tell me there was something wet outside.
A puddle on my camping chair magically appeared.
For some reason I didn’t have to water the garden.
This. This is why it’s important to have my own little weather station. It’s bothered me to no end that I didn’t have one during the last year. It doesn’t feel like I’m recording actual data for my place when I rely on apps for the weather.
So I am glad I am finally remedying that.
Now, my electric fence is working. I turned it on and used the fence tester to see the voltage. It’s right where it’s supposed to be. Rider pup tested it once. He decided it’s definitely working! A quick yelp, and he won’t do that again.
Below: A quick vid of the apiary. It’s doing very well still.
Which weather station did you buy? We’ve been thinking of buying one, but we haven’t spent the time researching it yet.

I’m hoping it’s a good one. I’ve had similar to this one years ago but the technology of course keeps changing so this one is new for me.
