Ticks aren’t the only troublesome thing these days.
But not unusual for here. No-see-ums and mosquitoes have been driving me nearly insane. Every time I’m outside I get so bit up.

I’ve had to bathe myself just now in my witch-hazel and plantain liniment since I just put the ducks and chickens up for the evening. Earlier, several times just today as well. It works well but it takes a few minutes to ease the terrible all over itching I get from the no-see-ums. They are much worse than the mosquitoes to the point I’m wondering if I have an allergy to them?
What are your go to tried and true quick acting bug itch relief tricks?
“After Bite” works a treat. It is baking soda in ammonia. You can make a baking soda paste with water to put on the bites. There is a device called the “Bug Bite Thing” that is a suction tool. We were surprised at how well it works.

If you buy “After Bite”, get the one with sodium bicarbonate. They have another formula with diphenhydramine HCL.
