It’s still raining a bit now and then but the bulk of the rain has moved on I do believe. As of 12:30 pm Saturday (today) my weather station has recorded 4.57” of rain since late Thursday night.
This is definitely much more than what the weather apps are recording. 1 suggests only 1.85”, another suggests 0.85”, and yet another suggests 1.31”. Micro-climates matter when you are rural. We often get dumped on as the weather likes to unload here before going over KM mountain.
And yet another example of why I felt I needed to set up my own weather station.

I made sure that the detentions of the weather station would fit on the end of the pole and attached the mounting pole to a post that was already here along a fence 6.5 feet high.
