A while back when I partook I a rare edible for pain, I decided buying 2000 worms and a plastic tote to put them in would be a good idea.
At first I kind of regretted that when I realized what I had done.
But today, as I sifted out worms and compost, I’m glad I did so.

The results are super fluffy and airy. And I just know it will be wonderful for starting seeds in and helping plants grow.
And speaking of plants, the Sungold cherry tomatoes are loading me down with so many fruits! I made a delicious tomato soup with some of them yesterday for lunch, tomatoes, garlic, thyme, and basil all from the garden. The first of the bigger tomatoes have started to ripen now too, Early Girl Improved is the first of those to be picked.
And still picking corn and the occasional pickling cucumber, and loads of Italian pole beans.
