I don’t think the others on the homestead really take food preservation very seriously. Never seen the wind like that there.

I grew up in that town with my grandparents. I’d seen flooding but have never seen wind this bad there. But I left that area 7 years ago because of the heat and the worsening weather due to global warming. It’s still raining a bit now and then but the bulk of the rain has moved on I do believe. As of 12:30 pm Saturday (today) my weather station has recorded 4.57” of rain since late Thursday night.
