I grew up in that town with my grandparents. I’d seen flooding but have never seen wind this bad there. But I left that area 7 years ago because of the heat and the worsening weather due to global warming. Weather apps. IMHO have never been that reliable in the rural areas like where I live. As the apps draw information from more populated areas, they don’t record the trends as well.
