Over and Over

I’m seeing in all theses social media posts about the catastrophic floods, storms, and fires (all over the world but especially in the USA) where people still in so much denial.

They blame “god and the end times.”

They blame “government.” (Especially whomever they didn’t particularly like or vote for.)

They blame 5G. (I literally had to stop watching a storm chaser yesterday evening on YouTube because of that nonsense.)

They blame “cloud seeding” or “weather modification” by some mysterious entity.

They blame anything except the truth that we’ve been WARNED about for years.

They refuse to acknowledge that climate science exists and that climate change is happening. I can only keep rolling my eyes. They were warned. I’ve been warning people. It’s why I moved to where I am. And why I refuse to move somewhere cheaper/more affordable with more jobs….

Instead of working to slow and reverse the climate changing certain political clowns are acting to make things worse. Full steam ahead for the elderly dictators I suppose since they won’t ever feel the full brunt of this in their lifetime.

My empathy has worn out for the deniers— you’re on your own. I’ll watch from the sidelines and help those around me who have half a brain when we are hit with weather disasters. Because even where I am it will happen. No place is safe. Some places are just safer for the time being.
